Making a dress for Grayson Perry…Day Three

This was the final day of making and after pulling an “all nighter” we were very tired but glad to be able to see Grayson in the dress.

Please see below Frances Rose Knee’s dress, that I helped her make, followed by the rest of the amazing dresses designed and made by 2nd year Fashion Print Students at Central Saint Martins.

It was an amazing experience to be able to see how a fashion course works behind the scenes and especially such a good one as Central Saint Martins. I particularly enjoyed both learning more about pattern cutting and enhancing by screen printing which is one of my favourite techniques. All the staff were very friendly and the students extremely talented. I am sure I met some of the future ‘greats’ of the fashion world.
